Terms of Service

These terms apply to roadside services provided by TylerRossUSA, DBA RoadRescue. By creating an account, submitting a request, or using the RoadRescue website or iPhone app, you agree to these terms.

RoadRescue is not 911 or an emergency-response service. Call 911 immediately if anyone is injured, there is a crash, fire, crime, medical issue, active traffic danger, or any other emergency.

Current services

RoadRescue currently provides only battery jump starts and emergency fuel delivery. We do not currently provide towing, lockouts, tire changes, vehicle transport, recovery, mechanical repair, storage, or emergency medical/police/fire response.

Service area and availability

Current service is limited to the Falmouth-Biddeford corridor in Maine, including Falmouth, Portland, South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, Saco, and Biddeford. Submission and payment do not guarantee a specific arrival time. We may cancel or refund requests that are outside the service area or cannot be safely fulfilled.

Customer authorization

You confirm that you are at least 18, have authority to request service for the vehicle, and authorize TylerRossUSA, DBA RoadRescue to perform the selected roadside service at the location you provide.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate location, phone, email, vehicle, fuel type, and notes.
• Stay in a safe location away from traffic whenever possible.
• Disclose hazards, pre-existing damage, unusual parking situations, fuel type uncertainty, or vehicle access problems.
• Keep children, pets, and bystanders away from the work area.
• Follow lawful safety instructions from the driver or authorities.

Fuel delivery

Fuel delivery is intended as a small emergency quantity to help you safely reach a fueling location. Fuel delivery does not guarantee that your vehicle will start or that fuel contamination, mechanical, battery, or fuel-system issues are absent. The customer is responsible for selecting the correct fuel type. If the fuel type is uncertain, we may decline service for safety reasons.

Jump starts

A jump start is not a diagnosis or repair of a battery, alternator, starter, electrical system, or other mechanical problem. We may decline service if the battery area is unsafe, inaccessible, damaged, leaking, modified, or otherwise unsuitable.

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Stripe processes payments. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for the current cancellation/refund rules. Bank and card-network processing times may apply.

Location and tracking

RoadRescue may use location information to identify the service location, assign a driver, provide tracking, improve safety, and maintain records. Driver tracking links are intended only for the assigned service request and may expire after completion.

Limitations

To the extent permitted by Maine law, RoadRescue is responsible for direct damage caused by its failure to use reasonable care, but not for pre-existing damage, indirect losses, lost use, incorrect customer-provided information, inaccessible vehicles, unsafe conditions, weather, traffic, network outages, payment processing issues, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
